We recommend that you use our online services on Thiqa.ae or the Thiqa app to have access to all your Thiqa programme details and Thiqa digital card. If you or the healthcare provider have an Emirates ID card copy or the Emirates ID number, they can check the Daman system whether you are eligible for coverage using the number. However, healthcare providers may need to see another form of valid identification, so it is advisable that your carry your passport or UAE driving license with you

Daman has teamed up with an international emergency assistance partner that provides a range of medical emergency services. Members who are covered for those services can directly call the International Thiqa Emergency Assistance Line on +971-42781335. Please have your Emirates ID and Thiqa digital card number ready. Non-emergency/non-life-threatening services and treatments availed outside of UAE are not covered, unless you have purchased a Musafer.

If I travel abroad will I still be covered there?

Only certain Thiqa categories are covered for emergency medical services abroad. You can extend your coverage via buying “Musafer”, which will give you access to emergency services across the globe.

UAE Nationals and Non-UAE National family members are eligible as per the criteria set by the Department of Health.
